Beatriz Machado, AIA, CPHC

Passionate about renovations and new construction, Beatriz will apply the knowledge she collected throughout 20 years of experience to bring new life to existing spaces or to design new spaces that will fulfill clients needs and dreams, improving performance and adding value to their properties.

She worked leading or acting as an active team member in architectural projects in multiple countries. Those projects range from large scale developments to small kiosks. Her working experience includes residential, retail, hospitality, workspace and education. She also has experience with interior, product and graphic design.

Beatriz was born and raised in Brazil, where she got her bachelor’s degree in Architecture, In 2009, she moved to Chicago to pursue a Master’s Degree in Sustainability at IIT. CPHC Certified (Certified Passive House Consultant), Beatriz brings to her projects sustainability concepts to improve energy efficiency, comfort and durability for her designs. She is also a licensed architect in USA (NY and MA) and Brazil.

Before starting her solo practice, Beatriz worked at VOA Associates in Chicago, Centerbrook Architects and Planners in Connecticut, Gensler/NY, Kevin Roche John Dinkeloo and Associates/KPF in NY SWBR in Rochester/NY and KOS+A in Bridgehampton/NY.
