CLIENT NEEDS: Renovation of an apartment to adapt to the needs of a growing family.

SOLUTION/ RESULTS:
This condo is located in one of the hills of Rio de Janeiro with a breathaking view of the Lagoon an Christ the Redeemer. The first move for this renovation was to demolish the walls that were blocking the view and bring the nature into the apartment.
That resulted in the elimination of one of the bedrooms. The family didn’t need the third bedroom and wanted to increase the size of the living room. We also expandede the kitchen and the master bathroom.
The second bathroom was split to allow for the construction of a powder room and a new ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom required special design features given its small size.
The end result was an unit that fitted perfectly the family’s need
